Nerf lol

Me and my friend were fooling around a few days ago, so i took some money out of my savings and bought a Stampede and a Double barrel, he got the Tommy 20 and a barricade. I know i'm so lame and stupid but to hell with that i'm having fun, which is something I can't do when i'm a adult(I mean real fun, not bed fun). 


Anyway I want opinions cause i know some of you have kids. You know what are your thoughts on nerf as a item of fun.

If you kill your inner child you've stopped living.  I think a nerf war could be fun.  I'm eyeballing some gas blowbacks to irritate the local squirrel population.  *shrug*

If you enjoy it and it's not illegal, immoral, unethical, and doesn't harm anybody, ROCK ON!!!!

I would have included 'offend' in that list but, no matter what you do, it's going to offend somebody.

My son has all of them......literally all of them. (20+) Every once in a while ill set myself up somewhere in the house with his belt fed maching gun Nerf and yell for him. I then of course ambush him when he least expects it   This usually leads to an hr brawl around the house, usually ended by mom. (in all fairness, he started it, shot me in the chest,from our balcony, with his sniper rifle)   Oh yea im 39 and refuse to grow up. Old enough to know better, young enough not to care

The college I go to is running this game called humans vs zombies. Lasts about 2 weeks and is played at all times except for in classrooms houses and places of work. Bought myself a vulcan just because I could. Belt fed glory.

used to have nerf wars during lunch time at the office...and it wasn't that long ago...6 of us in our 30s and 40s running around the office with those nerf gatling guns was a blast...department vp would walk in once in a while, see the darts stuck to the walls, windows and desks, and just look at us like we were nuts...

I'm a non-traditional (read: older than most) college student, and I play with Nerf guns.

I admit I have more fun playing paintball than playing with Nerf stuff.  But its much much harder to find other people that want to play paintball compared to Nerf (at least it is for me until I'm no longer a college student), paintball requires special locations and use special equipment, and paintball costs a lot more money.  The Purdue club has Nerf wars right in the middle of campus, sometimes even during the school week between classes.  

Then there's a modding aspect.  While this might not be the right thing for children to do, college students have embraced "souping up" their Nerf arsenal.  Personally I have as much fun modding as I do playing.

Yep the wife bought me the Vulcan belt fed for christmas. The children and pets get terrorized regularly.

With nerf guns of course but you gotta Mod em you can look up each guns mods on youtube they really work better.
