THE 4X20MM QUESTION..AGAIN....please??

yes we have a few planes with 4x20mm package,yes we have the data already available,NOW lets get it in more aircraft that DID have this gun package and DID see combat. we have the f4u-c corsair(only 200 produced) but not the option for the f4u-4 with 20mm x4 package(it was called f4u-4b with 297 produced in 1944),several marks of spitfires had the 4x20mm gun package(the f.mk vc,lf mk vc,spit xiv,etc)depending on what wing they had.we have some of these in game,lets get the option.ki-84 also had a 4x20mm variant...ok lets do it.and p-51 mustang had a 4x20mm variant called na-91 mustang 1a,150 produced,93 delivered to RAF,the rest retained by usa later converted to other roles. for some it is a question of why,for me why not,the aircraft are already in game the daTA Is TOO ,JUST ADD THE GUN PACKAGE.we should let the pilot decide what HE wants to fly rather than the community tell the pilot what he cant fly.and yes some production models are made in low quantities AND are already in game,f4u-c(200),ta-152(49 made),p-47m(130 produced),fw190d-9(674 produced).
  it seems that these would be good updates......and on another matter please 2x20mm cannons on the ju-87

You really need to check your facts. Even a cursory google search will tell you that you're unaware of what you're talking.

I want a plane where I can ho and run all day, not that the tempest doesn't allow me to do that, but I'm getting bored of hoing in that plane and I want to ho in a p51 and run. I mean how cool would that be, everyone likes the p51 and its fast and its good for hoing with, because with 4 20s, I can be the ho mastah! I am the ho mastah, and your whines fuel my ho down. I have asked many times before because I wanna ho more. The more I ho, the more I grow (sic into a better pilot). The more I ho, the more you say I blow. Ho-ho ho, ho all the day long we go. ho ho ho, some times I feel like Santa. Damn it santa, give me a p51 with 4 20s so I can ho more. I wanna I wanna I wanna ho!

i'm guessing the whole idea of historical relevance should just be tossed out the window to suit you're cannon fetish...

The F4U-4B is the same plane as the F4U-4C, the only difference was that the F4U-4B was intended to serve with the British Fleet Air Arm but were never delivered.  I think the USN retained them and later redesignated the -4Bs as -4Cs.

This has been hashed out many times on this very forum.  Just do a simple search and you'll find pages and pages of threads and why you are wrong.

Very limited production run that probably never saw service in full squadron strength.

Small numbers, large number converted to F-6A photo recce aircraft and just a wish for "cannons on a Mustang!"

It would take more than just adding a "GUN PACKAGE".  The early Mustangs had a different engine, that would have to be modeled as well.  The early Mustangs also suffered from performance loss at medium to high altitudes, that would need to be modeled as well amongst other various things that would make "JUST ADD THE GUN PACKAGE" impossible.

Good updates?  Hardly.  The wish of a person that can no longer rely on vulching shade accounts and now must rely on what little skill they have, pleading to have more planes with cannons to make up for the lack of skill?  Most definetly.

A little research into these planes and a search of the forums would have probably stopped you from posting this thread to begin with.  Might want to try this thing called "research" in the future.

And just because I'm feeling abnormally patient today, Alpini...  The planes we fly in the game are based on an event that occurred in the early to mid 1940s called World War II.  It is often abbreviated as 'WWII'.  Not to be confused with the Wii gaming console your parents bought for you a couple years ago.

The air combat of WWII involved many aircraft from many different nations.  The planes in this game are modeled off of the aircraft that actually saw combat in squad strength during WWII.  The loadouts and guns available for each airplane in game are the actual loadouts and gun packages that were available commonly (P47 haters, shush) and actually used.  The game is not intended to be a 'mix and match' of guns, bombs, and airframes but rather something more like a simulator, at least as far as the equipment goes.

I am sorry, but your wish is not likely to ever happen in this game.

The P-51 with the quad hizzos was an allison-powered plane. It was slow and had no high-alt supercharger. It was significantly slower than the P-51. You can HO all you want, but you probably won't "RUN" from anything.
