before you go posting on the boards saying "OMFG GUYS LOOK WHAT I FOUNDZ!!! ITZ SOOO COOL WE SHUD ADD IT!!", realize that there are two requirements for adding aircraft in this game:

1. it was used by an active-duty squadron durring WW2
2. it saw combat durring WW2.

this aircraft meets neither of these

you really really want a jet don't you?  :rofl

should have found another source besides wikipedia...

Bell produced 66 P-59s. Although the airplane's performance was not spectacular and it never made it into combat, the P-59 provided training for AAF personnel and invaluable data for subsequent development of higher performance jet airplanes.

I don't know, a jet 25 mph slower than a P-51 sounds good to me  :rock
I don't recall the 37mm in my reading though.   The one Planes of Fame is restoring to flying status doesn't
appear to have one.

Ok, I get that people want a new jet, but I don't get why they are obsessed with it being an American jet.  Why do they keep asking for American jets that didn't make it when there are two jets, the He162 and Meteor Mk III, that aren't in the game and did make it.

What is so special about it being American?
