Groups of us used to meet in the Da for some fun. We would fly all types of aircraft at one time or another. Great times laughing and dieing.

Not sure what I'm doing Friday evening but if I'm online I'll swing by the DA for a bit, I'm a thoroughly wretched dueler and can always stand a little more practice.

We used to have a thing in the DA on vox 290. Anyone that wanted to participate in informal 1v1s would go on that channel and for several months we had a regular set of 6+ people there. It has since died but it would be nice to get that going again.

I would love this.  I have been seeking duels, for the sake of learning, but am a little uncomfortable asking people directly in the MA.  I find it difficult to be so forward as to ask someone to drop what they are doing so they can go to the DA for my education.  So, lately I have been asking if anyone wants to DA on 200, but it only rarely gets a response.

I would suggest that you pick a text channel to set in the MA that everyone can see if tuned to it.  I would love to have that channel set all the time to answer anyone looking for a partner to spar with in the DA.

If you see me on just ask. I won't be able to go always but would be glad to be your practice target most any time. I would not be in the least offended by you asking.

When you make the DA fun... that is when you'll learn the most. It's not about who wins or loses... it's all about the fight and figuring out maneuvers. That makes us all winners.

Da NOW!  :furious  :aok

I'm always up for some DA action. Been sick as a dog this week, but starting to feel better.
I'll try to show up at midnight Eastern (9pm PST) Friday if I'm not still blowing snot everywhere :bhead

I wouldn't feel so bad about it.  Unless they were in the middle of a squad mission or a rare good fight in the MA, I'd imagine most would fall out of their chairs to accept your request.  The worst they can say is "no," and odds are they'll make a mental note to ask YOU later on.

Word of warning: be careful dueling.  Once you do it for awhile, you run a strong risk of finding the MA insufferable.

I haven't had a duel in months. Someone please violate me with your bullets.

Oh no need to be careful. We've already established that P-38s are superior to Jugs in every way, especially appearance. :D :bolt:
