you've missed the fact(i think) that there is a huge difference between racers,and showers.

not me, I am a perfect example of that difference! 

i rarely hit car shows, only due to the fact that so many of the show cars are "trailer queens", regardless of what their owners will tell you......and i can't stand trailer queens.
 cars are built to be driven.

You and I are in perfect agreement when it comes to sports cars. I have no use for car shows.... If I check out the car show, I wanna see some rare vintage stuff, not a contest for who can put the most chrome or carbon fiber add-ons on their otherwise dime-a-dozen street car.

for gm.....their american made hot rod will remain king of the hill, unless they do something stupid(again).

almosdt forgot....as for the nurburg ring? if they're not gonna use the vette, then they'll use the cadillac. it's faster than the camaro too. 

  That CTS-V is a bad boy! Nothing like a 4-door sedan with almost 600 hp that can get around a race track faster and quicker than 95% of the sports cars you can buy today, price be dammed!

Funny... at most shows my daughter's 6 banger is in..... her car attracts about as much attention and even the monster V-8s.

There is no getting around the thumpers when they are coming in. The sounds of superchargers, turbos, and that good ol' lift n duration.

it still doesn't take the top mustang to handle the camaros.

 chevy's putting out(it appears) special camaros to take care of a plain old gt....and chances are good that those special editions won't handle the gt500's.

 yea......always do the water pump if your taking the timing belt off. this one is a new customer, and they just want it....they don't want it checked or anything.....they just moved here from the west coast.
