World of Tanks
« on: April 23, 2011, 08:34:56 AM »
Has anybody checked out this new Russian made Tank game called "World of Tanks" ?

It's free, and looks very interesting.  It appears to be more of a "Game" then a simulation per say.
I signed up last night, I will report back with more info.

Lots of us played the beta when it came out. There was a massive thread in here and also a pretty good sized crew at FW. I lost a Maus, JagdTiger, Pershing and GWPanther when the wipe came. :(

Muas, VK 4502, Tiger, TigerII, VK 3002, Panther, Ferdinand, Jagdpanther, Hummel and 4 other us tanks. no desire to go through the grind to get all those elite again.

Yep, alot play. Im running as B4Buster in there, too. Feel free to add me. It's a blast, but if I had to only play one game, it would still be Aces High.

I'm progressing surprisingly fast playing about 15 to 20 battles a day, I have my KV all tricked out with 168% crew, working on the StuGIII, the A-20 and T-34. The A-20 is about 600xp from being elite and I have a bunch of other elite stuff for farming.

edit: I really miss my IS-4

Love it.

Grind focus is on PzIV and T-34, currently.
