how the hell do you get 168% crew?

It's more of a generalization. Each crew member has special skills you can train them in. So 100% + 68%.

Currently have SU-85 (with the 107) elite except for unlocking SU-100 (Killed a KV at 642m 4 shots, 2 ap, then bounced one, switched to HE for the kill, all 4 shots hit on target)

Stug, M4 Sherman (with 105), Panzer 4 (just got him)

I also have the T-14, and the hvy pre-order Premium M6. Just sold the CBT M4 easy 4.

Unlike AH, WoT is more of a team based game, so death loses a lot of its sting.

VonKrimm has been tearing them up in there of late, along with several other ex AH pilots that hang in there.

I played it once after the wipe and then wiped it off my computer. Glad I didn't spend any money or any more time playing the game.

So far my view is,  that the game is an "adventure game" where instead of being an Elf you are a tank.  You are allways in need of new gear ...upgrades etc etc. So you are allways on a hamster wheel trying to get new stuff, or you can just enjoy playing at any level.  Personally I prefer HTC's system of having 90% of the tanks available on day one, instead of having to earn every piece of gear/vehicle.

The maps act as "zones" or a "dungen raid" (adventure game)

Game graphics are nice.  Allthough why they don't have weather involved in the maps is beyond me.  There is very few maps and some weather would do alot to make them all more interesting.  Fog ....rain...snow and visability issues would all make the maps more varied

I found myself missing HTC's scoring system.  I would kill and enemy tank like 85%, some one else hits the enemy the last time ....that guy gets the kill.  I get bullocks.  This happens over and over.  It is sort of kill stealing.

Also it seems to be impossible to play w/ friends.  The "match up"  join game server does an excellent job of getting you into games.  Unfortunately you can never get into a game with your friends.  Unlike ACES HIGH there seems to be little point in having any friends in the game.

Game view point on certain vehicles is curious.  In "Steel Panthers" the Su-12 is so terrible as to be a joke.  Yet in "World of Tanks" it's pretty good.  That seems suspect to me.

All and all I still think HTC make a vastly superior game.

I will report back soon...

You don;t get experience for the kill just the number next to your name.  You get experience for the total point damage done to the tank and critical hits to the tank.  A critical hit is something like destroying the engine, tracking the vehicle, or killing one of the crew members.  Also you can play with friends you need to start a platoon in game and invite your friends and you will be put in game with our friends and other random people.

I have downloaded it, but do not get an activation email. Any ideas?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Had nothing but problems getting in game gold since the wipe. Their service frankly sucks, after nearly 2 weeks just got an email saying I should log in and out and it should appear!

With a basic account I managed to grind out an elite stugIII, elite hetzer, pz4 has just led me to VK3001H and grinding out the hummel at the moment. Its pretty expensive to play imo, but a good game to play to pass the time.
