No Go New Version

I installed,rebooted and when i click icon it disappears instead of launching..tis happened previous update..Forget what i did to fix it.

Right click and select run as admin this worked for me on windows 7  :salute

The only issue I've experienced with the new update has been the one of the missing skins.  Other than that, I have not experienced what a lot have been posting about.  My joystick and view settings remained the same and I don't lose them after every sortie.

how can you not get to c:\hitech creations\aces hjgh ???

once you figure it out...right click on the aceshigh executable and either choose run as administrator or go to properties > compatibility and put a check mark in the run as administrator box.

but before you go through all that...try the file under pyro's second post in this discussion...replace the ahlogo.jpg file that exists in the folder i listed above

When I tryed double clicking the icon it would come up for a few seconds then disappear, I right clicked the icon run as admin it worked ok.

Same here just having fun so far. was able to take off no remaping need ed at all.   viz everything works same as always.

you can't get to your desktop?

rightclick the icon, then select run as admin.

most likely the new version was installed on a separate folder than your older version.  but you still have the old shortcut on your desktop, that's why it does nothing.  go into your c drive see if there's two versions of it.  it happened to me when the last major update went live 1-2 years ago.  the new version installed on a different folder.
