Tornadoes

There's always been a Dixie Tornado Belt.  That's why many of us have below ground concrete storm shelters. 

Total toll 3 storms is 10 people now (many more injured) here in Arkansas.

At least 2 were in "disaster magnets".  (mobile homes)

Anybody besides me find it strange that such violent tornadoes were in those areas?   When I think F5 I think TX, OK, AR, KS, and such.

Note: please don't make this a global warming / climate change debate.

F5's can happen anywhere.   They are not "region specific".    They rely solely on evolving Weather conditions.    People get complacent thinking "it won't come here" and get blindsided.     

300+ people too many.    Our Country needs to step up the little things like Weather Warnings (i.e. Advance Notice), because most of these injuries and deaths could have been prevented.    My heart goes out to those affected in game (AM2 and others), but also out of game.

I actually watched the F5 tornado that tore through Jarrell and took out most of the town with it back in 97. I remember being out towards a little town called Andice and watching it from a little hill.

I fail to see humor in a death toll.   But I am pretty sure if you were affected,  you would be singing a different tune.
