Here's a tip from a guy in his 40s who has been around the block a few times...  Go for it...  If there is a girl you like, don't let anything stop you from talking to her.  You have nothing to lose and you will have many many more chances with other girls in the future.  Worse thing that can really happen is she can rebuff you.  Might sting a bit, but you'll move on.

I discovered my freshman year of college that if you just "go for it" with women that you think are out of your league, you'll be surprised at how often they immediately warm up to you.  Confidence breeds success breeds confidence.  

Secret of life, and a rockin' college experience in my case!

This is too funny. Makes a TON of sense about the Muppets too. As for the whole boobs thing and talking them into things...my oldest daughter is 15 and just got a 'boyfriend' a couple weeks back. I see the world through different eyes now. Talk to all the girls you want but leave mine the hell alone!
