2.14 Patch 2 Changes
=================

Vehicle steering now uses analog rudder input in addition to the keys.  It will default to whatever analog input you have rudder mapped to.  Steering keys will remain active and will override analog inputs.

Added more information to the tank commander display.  In addition to the existing ammo counter at the bottom of the gauge there is now a gear indicator at the top, a current speed indicator on the left, and a set speed indicator on the right.  There is also an additional "bug" that rotates around the outside of the circle to display your tank's heading.

The current speed indicator will show an S when you are completely stopped.  The set speed indicator shows what speed your vehicle will try to hold.  Your set speed is set to your current speed at the instant you release the accelerate or decelerate key.  It will display an F for full when you use the full speed key.

TIP: If your transmission is "gear hunting" while going up a hill, you can quickly tap the decelerate or accelerate key at the instant you are at your desired gear and rpm.  This will lock in your set speed to a more optimal setting that it won't try to accelerate and upshift out of.

Added an option to completely restrict mouse input to GUI functions only.  Check this if you don't want the mouse to be active while you are gunning and don't use mouse look.  This option is found in Options>Preferences>View Options as "Disable All Mouse Controls".

Changed sea and land mode in ship guns to use joystick input to slew the guns.  Keyboard input remains live as well.  Added a horizon marker with 1 mil marks that shows where your gun is pointed.  This is separate from your view reticle which is not slaved to your gun.

Fixed an issue that could cause a vehicle ditch to be improperly registered due to the vehicle still moving imperceptibly.  Be sure that your current speed indicator displays an S before trying to exit your vehicle or a ditch will always result.

Lowered the default mouse control rate and altered the scale.

The mouse cursor now fades out after remaining stationary for 5 seconds.

Mouse cursor is now automatically displayed when the film save dialog is open.

Disabling "Start in Mouse Look" in the View Options menu now updates the current mouse look state immediately.

Vehicles now spawn with their engines running. <---oh boy, now new people don't have to figure out the e key so quickly

Fixed an issue when gunning with a mouse using the mouse control hold-down.

Fixed a memory leak that was causing crashes, particularly when exiting and re-entering arenas.

Fixed a problem with Track IR support when using snap view mode.

Fixed some graphical issues with bullet holes on the Yaks.

PT boat torpedo loadout in the hangar now only displays 1 torpedo.  <---what? i hope that's just an optional loadout

Recalibrated C-47 airspeed indicator.

Fixed artificial horizon sorting issues on a number of planes.

Fixed an LoD issue in the pacific terrain set vegetation.

Fixed an LoD issue in the M3.

The bailed out pilot can now stop running after pressing shift w.

Fixed a gear flicker between first and neutral when stopped.

Added a host variable that controls the randomizer radius of remote vehicle spawns.

I'd like to get the first whine in. I was hoping for a Cinco de Mayo Margarita and it wasn't included in the patch.

Not quite sure about the vehicles spawning running for the same reason Waystin stated, but other than that, looks like a pretty reasonable and well thought out patch.  Quite curious to try out GVing with this config.

The fading mouse cursor will mean you can't make a gunsight out of it and fire your guns while sticking your head out of the window of your aircraft. For realism's sake I support it, it's not like I ever did anything like that anyway  :noid
