Coral Sea took place May 7 (Saturday) -- please join us to commemorate

The Battle of the Coral Sea took place on May 7.  Please join us on This Day in WWII to commemorate the battle.

It will run at 4 pm Eastern time in the Special Events II arena.  All are welcome to play.

My gunnery is off since I've not been flying much, but WTH, I'm in. If only we had a true F4F-3....

The f4f-4 with 4-gun option and no drop tanks is pretty close, and that's what I'll be limiting it to during the event.

Biggest problem with the setup is that it was designed for a large number of players, but we only had a little over a dozen per side. I guess since it wasn't 8th AF over Germany no one cared.  :rolleyes:

I still thought it was fun, but we are not getting large numbers for This Day in WWII events.  We average about 40, I think.

Any suggestions on how we can up the participation in TDIWWII?  I think that they are quite a lot of fun to play in -- but it would be very nice to have more players.

Brooke I know you try to do them on the day of the event. Maybe run them on off night of FSO.  Only Idea

 since you're getting low numbers, try to limit the playspace on the map, if that makes sense?

Crap I didn't know we had this, its like a snapshot - to bad we couldn't do it more often like every other week - snapshots are great but the once a week kinda sucks.

Honestly will do that, lately been fed with the over hording against the knits and need something different.
