Killing vehicles through hanger walls?

The person who shot the round has the real one, it will not pass threw a building.

Everyone else sees a fake representation of that round that can not collide with anything but the ground.

I'm going to email you guys the film, then. I went back and watched it, and the guy who it says killed me was not listed on the list of players in the area, so he must have been in a field gun, right? But the round definitely came through the wall of the hanger and hit me.... and within a minute or so of me being killed the text buffer credited him with landing 2 kills in a T-34.... I guess he ended sortie in the field gun and upped a T34, I just assumed when I saw the text buffer credit him with kills that I was one of those 2.... never-the-less, whatever killed me definitely shot me through the hanger wall.... could it have been a field ack that popped? Can they kill you through building walls? I know I've been hit by ack in thown that has had no line of sight on me.... but never been shot by one while hidden in a hanger....

I've been having tank rounds I fire go right thru the side of the tank and hit the ground behind it. I see a very slight sparkle right where the round hits the tank but the tank gets no damage. A couple days ago I hit HellsAce 3 times this way in a Tiger. At 1500 ft. I was in an M4/76 shooting AP rounds.
It is from the side right at the bottom of the turret where it meets the body. Like the rounds go under the turret and over the body of the tank.
Has anyone else seen this? It is very very frustrating when you are close enough to watch a direct hit make a slight sparkle in the middle of the tank and do no damage.

I've been in a T-34 numerous times in the past and fired on M4s and Panzers inside of 800 yards (with the old sights too, and the enemy tank really filled the crosshairs, WAY too close to miss) and had time to get off 2 or 3 shots before they figured out where I was ...... and watched every single one of my rounds go through the enemy tank center mass and hit the ground on the other side and do no damage what-so-ever.... and then the enemy tank figures out where I'm hiding, turns, and 1-shot kills me.

At one time there was a bug that let you drive up to the VH wall and put the barrel through the wall and shoot inside the VH. You could camp this way, All you had to do was hear the engine start and fire. The bug was fixed pretty fast and as far as I know it don't work any more and has not for years now.

every once in a while there's a bug that will credit a kill to somebody not near you or that wasnt even firing at you.  once i augered a b26 and assi got the kill.  it pissed me off since he had been on our side but when I checked the roster the was still on our side.  this may have possibly happened to you.  it doesnt happen very often but I've noticed it a couple of times.

Sounds like a ricochet to me.

I saw the same exact thing while practicing/testing the new tank updates.

I was at approx the same distance shooting at the Tiger on the field. Placed the round right between the turret and body ... saw a small spark ... and could see the round hit behind the tank with the ground effect poof of dust.

I have seen it happen more on Tigers. Its not a ricochet, the round never changes direction. As well its a direct hit in the middle of the side profile of the tank.
