Ok so I took her shooting for first time today (Picked up yesterday) and all i have to say, great gun but it shoots SUPER high, im talking over a foot where your aiming. Now I looked up putting a scope on it and I found out when you take off the leaf sight near the chamber there is a 3/8 dovetail. Now I have got mixed responses about putting a scope there. Some say that the dovetail will slide, others say that it doesnt at all. Also some people say a joined scopemount is better then two separate scope mounts in this situation. So im curious if anyone has done this before? I really want put a scope on it, I just dont want to drill it and things like that.
I was looking at some of these mounts.

Sounds like the conclusions I came to when mounting a scope on mine, whatever you go with has to put up with and handle the butch recoil/kick the gun has, so obviously a scope and mount not meant to handle such forces simply won't.
Edit: Eventual I removed the scope and mount I had since it was a nice one that still would work itself loose sometimes and put it on another rifle without as much recoil.
