Played for about a year, got tired of grinding.  Came back to it, signed up for a free 2 week reactivation of my char, found it was the same game still....   Kill these pirates... Kill these pirates...  Kill these Drones... Kill these Drones...  BOOOOOOORING.

More to it than PvE  :)

That's why I left too. I didn't give myself time to experience more aspects of the game. I'm going to look into joining a educational corporation. I'm interested in the industrial/econimic side of things. The player-run economy really is something else.

In game I was Kim O'Blasy, PIRATE. I liked pirating in game more than any other aspect.
This is a test

Played since beta, quit in 2007 or 2008 can't remember but never got back into it even if my sub was running periodically. Viperius, weren't you in my corp? My main character is 'Vortex Freeman' 2nd is 'Lana Freeman'. I have some 94 million skillpoints or so on main but have missed out on several years worth of training. Not sure if I'll ever go back to that game, it's a very time consuming activity. AH is about as much roleplaying I can do now me thinks.

First, I got you hooked onto the Mossie, and now you're playing Eve. I have much to be at fault for...  :D

Played it a bit with Plazus. Fun game, but too much to take in at once so I left. Don't know if I'd ever play again or not.

Yeah, I thought it was too much to take in, but I decided this time around I would make an effort to learn more. I think it would be fun to play with others. Plaz, are you still in game? I'm playing as 'Symitarr'

Have been playing since late 2009 myself. It really is a game you have to dedicate to, unfortunately. If you can't see yourself being able to trudge through the first few months to "get to the fun part" and then staying dedicated enough to keep up with everyone else, it will certainly be a borefest. Every time I see people whining about not getting instant fights in Aces High, I reminisce over camping Fountain or The Great Wildlands for WEEKS in stealth bombers.

Too bad I just sold my Orca, I could introduce everyone to the absolute splendor that is highsec mining... :lol I don't have a suitable place to house my Rorqual, though.

Only reason they do that is if the player requests it due to a glitch or drone problem. I'll never be a combat supercap pilot anyway, they bore me. Only reason I want to get a carrier is for moving around with the corp.

They do it when you go inactive for too long, 6 months I believe it was. Supercaps are fun when you get into action, but it rarely happens. It's a excellent fleet support vessel but you have to be careful not to get cornered in it, it's a expensive ship not to mention the loot I'm carrying.

Sheesh, I wish I lived where yo do, I guess. Fighting against Titans with whole supercarrier "support" fleets is par in my life. Though I'm glad they no longer carry standard drones. A small win for the little guys. Now if only Titans didn't have guns that track destroyers, things might start making some sense.

Basically why I left EvE was because in all PvP it came down to gaming the game, and I'm no fan of using bug and lag exploits to win the day. Aces High is superior to EvE in the PvP aspect because here it takes true skill whereas in EvE all you do is point and click. There is no comparison really.

It's a pretty game, and lots of mad fun people playing it, but that's about it. If only AH had the playerbase of EvE, we could have every plane, tank and ship modeled.
