I do not believe that any B-25 ever had a ball turret.

Guess it depends on how you define a ball turret.  The B-25's had a ventral turret that was remote controlled and was retracted when not in use.  It did not have a manned ball turret like the Sperry turret you see on the B-17.

b models, powered ventral and dorsal turrets, tail gun emplacement removed.
That is not the same as a ball turret.  Manchesters and early Lancasters had a ventral turret, but not a ball turret.  The B-29 also has ventral turrets, but not ball turrets.

In order for the absurd claimed problem of it filling with puke to be the issue, I would imagine skorpion was claiming a manned ball turret.

Having to operate the turret from the remote position through a periscope was reported to cause nausea in some crew members, that's about all I can offer on the subject.  Interestingly enough as I mentioned earlier the RAF seemed to have more success with the turret than than the Americans.
