Beyond the basic "get ganged by 2 or 3 and kill all the baddies singlehandedly" and live....

Beyond the name in lights for mega-kill numbers....

Even beyond the top-10 rank at the end of tour.....

We've all heard that it's a great honor to be called a HAXX4R and the "C" word, and to be reviled by the red icon as doing things unpossible in toon planes.....

What are your other "Rights of Passage" in AH that in some small way say "you've made it!" you're obviously a BAAAAAAAD man??

Mine doesn't really denote having done anything special, it was just so pathetic and comical I had to share.....I was just chuckling over the one I got today for the first time, after 2+ years of AH..........

The pm VOX rant by someone ou just shot down!

Honestly, in just over two years of playing this game this is the first time I've run across someone who actually VOX pm'd me after I shot him down to tell me how awesome they are(I think he said "you mess with the bull you're gonna get the horns!"   ) and what he was gonna do to me when he came back with a new plane! OMG! I've been pm'd before, and pm'd people if I didn't feel like starting a monkey toejamfight on 200, but VOX PMing someone who just owned you to taunt them?!?!  


I know, I know, it's pretty lame, and not worthy of recognition on the BBS, but this guy was killing me... well, not literally in a toon sense, but I was dying laughing!


Every day it's somehing new and funny! Thank You here-to-for unnamed AH toon pilot, you made my day!

you know, you're right..... I edited out the player's name, no need to go there, it's apparently pretty common behavior for this individual to do this, nothing new....

But seriously, there have to be planty more gutt-busting funny things that people have done as a response to losing a toon air battle, feel free to share 'em.

I've just never understood it......honestly.  When I die in the virtual arena (and it is often) I directly attribute it to something that I DID WRONG to earn that fate.  I chose to take a bad approach to a field or a bad line on a formation of buffs, failed to properly conceal myself in a GV or had that "John Wayne" moment when I thought it was the smart thing to do to barrel head long into a swarm of red guys.  Honestly, alot of the so called "dumb" things I do are either A.  Seemed like a brillant idea at the time or B.  I am just trying to have a lil 'ol fun.  As I plument to the earth below I know that I can just re-up a shiny new ride and all is right in the virtual universe again.  Who knows, maybe my line of thinking is just all wrong.

When you get called a cheat or hack ( http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,134965.0.html ) which I think you covered.

When you have been around longer then dirt, or get asked to join one of older then Dirt squadrons.

When you can take all the bad stuff this game can dish out like vulching, Spawn camping, cherry picking - Not playing the way the other player wants you to, and ego, chest thumping, and name calling, all while brushing the B.S. off and still have fun. (If you have and easy way to do this Let me know)

When you stop monitoring or tuning to ch 200 because it just isn't entertaining any more and no longer worth space in the text buffer. (I still haven't done this)

When you no longer care about status, scores, or ratios. When you feel you have nothing to prove to any one, and you don't need to arrive or get beyond some right of passage because you left that back in the dust of some other long dead forgotten game.

When you can actually place faces and real names to handles or know many players in person.

When people want to meet you and buy you a beer rather then kick your head in or do bad "pulp Fiction" things to you.

You know big week .... and the people that also know of big week know you.

When you become skeptical of a guy telling you he owns a B-17.

Reaper thats pretty dang hilarious. omgroflmao.  I remember one time the game had a glitch in it and the muppets were gang bangin me like as in 8 on 1 and I had an a6Zero that I was in, that was unkillable.  The force was with me.  OMG did I get chewed out, but the funny thing is I was laughing so hard that I blew pop all over my screen and knocked the popcorn off of my desk.  I could hardly stay in my chair from laughing uncontrollably.  I think I eventually re-logged numerous times and fixed the glitch.

hmmm  this guys name stars with a H and ends with a double S?
lmao  i remember when i killed him 2 times in a row, even tho 1st time it was a 3v1 and 2nd time he had a much turnier ride and alt on me, and he harrassed me on 200 for 3-4 months for being a cheater, cable plugger, hoer, picker, altmunky, homo, retard etc etc... and guess what?  i am haha

 have been called a cable puller a couple times several years back... Funny part was I was on dialup at the time so I'm thinking that pulling my "cable" would not have done me a lot of good 

 Umm I have been private voxed and he yelled at me and I quote "NOW LISTEN HERE YOU F*** HEAD!!!" wasn't recording so not much Skuzz could do on that one lol.

 One that should be added I think is doing something well enough that people simply log off so fast after you kill them that you can't even get a <S> out lol.   Best one of these I remember was a guy in a 262 chasing my KI-67's for 2 or 3 sectors and when he finally got in range I instapopped him before he even got a shot off lol. 

Most recent one of these was a few days ago. I took a panther out to take care of another panther.  Moved a short distance down hill and broadside to him with one of the lil bushes that you can now roll and shoot through between him and me.  I cold see front and back of his tank but the bush was closer to him so all he could see was the bush.  I kill him with 2 shots through the bush into his side and get a PM accusing me of hacking and shooting through the hill. He logged off before I could reply and tell him what happened. lol

When you kill a usually better player by taking the shot you have, but it was a little too "nose-on" for his liking. You get called a "HOer". LOL.
