Howdy all. I found an interesting old wallet at a local estate auction tonight. While it was not full of money, It did contain some 1830’s tax receipts... And an odd little prayer.
















I see that the tax rates have gone up slightly during the last 170 years.

Wow.  Stop and think what you are holding in your hands.  A piece of history that is 180 years old.  Someone held that in their hands and cussed about taxes back then too.   :)
