Thanks for taking care of our enlisted folks <S>

Glad to help out - Our office would never hesitate to assist any servicemen. When the USAF had an office airside @ sydney, we would occasionally deal with the personnel who staffed it, and they were always polite, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. This guy was no different, and ultimately it was really a privilege for us that we could do what we could to make his visit to our country a little better...we even gave his escort free parking  :aok

What struck me about this thread is the fact of the near controversy about how the uniform works out. But this is the current uniform as worn today, this minute. I've seen controversy about the uniform worn a hundred years ago, a hundred and fifty years ago, two hundred years ago..
Personally, I don't like the blues. the greens are more like military to me.Just a personal thing.

Let me get my Honor Guard going real quick.....

The ASUs or Army Service Uniform is a Navy Blue blouse with blue pants, this is to symbolize when in Civil War times officers would take off their blouse and their pants would fade to a lighter color.

I think General wear Navy Blue bottoms as well....maybe all black

Lets ditch the French head gear aside from few groups that have been wearing it for a considerable amount of time.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.
