I wish that when someone tries to tune you it creates a pop-up that you can accept or cancel like the "join request". This way you can stop the clowns that feel they MUST explain how much of a loser you are for shooting them down.

Is it really a problem? I had that happen to me only ones a few years back, you can always squelch them.

Seems reasonable to me, just give us an option to show it in the text buffer like pop ups with join planes.

It happens often enough, and imagine if it happens to a newbi. How many subscriptions are lost to people being verbally abused? On top of that "reporting" them doesn't work well enough as nobody wants to be a "tattle tail".

Slim to none I would assume.

I've only been PM VOX'd maybe once or twice in all the hours I've logged.  It obviously can't be that big of a problem if I wasn't getting nasty vox's when I was in my hay day.

-1 because it's not a problem warranting time spent on it.  Squelch is good enough for now.

Sometimes after a good fight, win or lose, I like to chat with the other guy to get his perspective on it and say thanks for the good fight.  I'd be annoyed if I lost this possibility because a few people are donkeyholes that should be banned.

If a PM comes to you you should get the the pop-up/option to decide whether you want to chat with them or not.

As it is now you haven't any choice. You get blasted by some A-hole and have to scramble to mute the clown before everyone in your house hears his"potty mouth".

I'd like to have a squelch list that I can save in my Aces High folder, and the pop-up idea doesn't sound so bad if you can choose to disable it in the clipboard if you don't have a problem with people tuning to you.

squelch still works.  just have your list ready, i am pretty sure a guy like you can figure out how to do a macro.  I did one with my keyboard.  then erased it, found it more amusing to listen to the the pms.

but arent you the one that is always saying if you had bother to search you would've found this has been discussed to death ?

HTC has said that they won't do that because every now and then they purge out all the unused names so that they can be reused. If you have a name on your "LIST" that gets reused your potentially squelching someone who you don't need to excluding him/her from the community.
