Scientists cure cancer - nobody takes notice?
« on: May 15, 2011, 07:51:22 PM »
Have they really done it, or is this some cruel joke?
It sounds too true. I really hope they have done it,
but it appalls me (at the same time, doesn't) that
the big companies don't give a rip.

Health care will always BS people into buying stuff that doesn't really work, ask a professional with a degree about all that and he might say otherwise. Or I could be completely wrong, you never know  :noid

I was wary at first, too. But it seems to have merit.

I hope and pray they do come up with a cure for cancer,as both my daughters have breast cancer. One not so bad,the other isn't so good.I have had one of my children die before me,and I really don't want to see another one go.

Tell me most of you are at least semi intelligent and read the comments section below the article...please...
This is akin to Glenn Beck stating facts.....

the cynical side of me says they did not cure it. there is no money in curing anything. there is boatloads of money in treating everything though.

I am always suspicious when they start or sound like the big medical industry don't want you to know this.  If anything really cured a disease it wouldn't go unnoticed if it's true.  you talking about millions of people in the medical profession and journalists having a conspiracy to deny some care.  doctors and doctor's family also get cancer, they wouldn't keep it from them or their families.

if anybody ever finds the cure for cancer, can you imagine the money they will make.  how much would you be willing to pay to get rid of it.  the company/individual that discovers it would make billions and billions of dollars.

Oh my ... my little sister posted this on her facebook and it took all the restraint I had to not go off on her.  I love how people blindly post links to stuff without even doing some basic research.

Without even arguing the accuracy of the science in the article, simply looking at the first few comments on this article proves it's bogus.

First of all, the first comment was posted four years ago!  Surely there would have been further news about this amazing discovery since then!  Six weeks ago someone mentioned that this article in its un-sourced form means nothing!  And six days ago someone found it again and posted it on Facebook.  And here it is now.  "Social Networking" at its best right here.

Use your brains, sheeple!  Sheesh
