What if the best performing pilots on the events would be rewarded with some perks? This would surely increase the events popularity.  mean the top fighter pilot would get 25 fighter perks, the second one would get 15 etc etc

The special events to me are about teamwork, not who can get the highest score. It was a little lesson I learned from AKDogg some years back. I wouldn't want to see anything like this, as it "could" promote the opposite affect of what I go to the special events for.

If you are looking at FSO and/or Senario event.....this will not fly to well.  For one, it usally the same guys that will be up there, 2) your mega squade(s) will wipe out the cons and they to will end up there too and 3) what will they gain for having the perk points when they will have no use for it in the SE arena.

Only way this'll work is if you give perks to everyone on the winning side. Or you'd be sittin back during a scenario while 50 different perk wannabes go and try to kill everything they find and ignore their objectives

I really like this idea.  It would encourage people to join these events.  I'm not certain that perks just for the top pilot is whats needed, but I think the general idea has merit.

Firts of all: i very rarely can fly on events couse of my timezone, but i loved the huge ones, they were the best fun, big squads trying to work together.
But there are some events with low numbers, and they are not nearly as much fun (for me).
BAR's idea sounds better than mine for me, it would greatly encourage the teamwork, also more people would be awarded, what is tempting to the ones who are not sure if they wanna fly on that event or not.

I think perks for things like the races, and KOTH would be great. But it would be bad for the team oriented deals, like the Scenarios and FSO.

Big events all started with low numbers...support the SEC! Fly it!
