2.24 Patch 3
« on: May 17, 2011, 01:48:23 PM »
Patch 3 is available now.

Version 2.24 Patch 3 Changes
======================

Re-added the new title art by cactuscooler.

Added Mic DB Boost to the voice options menu.  If your Mic Volume is at the max, you can use this feature to gain an additional boost to your mic volume if needed.  By checking the Enable Auto Mic DB Boost checkbox, the amount of DB Boost will automatically vary according to your voice volume.  Setting your boost or mic volume too high will produce distortion.  Too low and it will be hard to hear you.

Changed the commander's reticle so that the look, barrel, and tank direction indicators are now all heading based with the top of the circle being north.  Previously, the look and barrel indicators used a relative bearing with the top of the circle being the front of the tank.  To align your gun barrel to the front of the tank, you just need to align your barrel indicator with the heading bug that sits on the outside of the circle.

Screenshots no longer write out to the Aces High base folder.  They are now deposited in the Aces High subfolder "scrshot".

Fixed a bug that caused a CTD when a vehicle used a rearm pad.

Added yards label to the distance indicators in the ship gunner sea and land modes.

Sights stay centered on sea and land modes when mouse use is disabled.

PT boats can now use analog rudder inputs to steer.

Fixed a bug that could cause a CTD when using voice.

B-29 20mm no longer can fire on ground.

The CM's task force jump dialog now supports CV groups numbering over 100.

Fixed a bug that caused the film view to lockup at the end of films.

The Il-2 now shows up in the hangar list when you set it to only show attack aircraft.

Added an apply button to the voice options menu.

Fixed an issue on systems with multiple microphones where the mic volume would not always adjust the selected microphone.

Fixed an issue in the film viewer that caused engine sounds not to initialize properly.
