Dont feel too bad, it is a beautiful video.  Things like that give me goose pimples. 

However, you must now turn in your man card for at least 36 hours.

Awesome video there but not really wondering where this crying is coming from...not judging you but seriously I think a 48 hour man car turn in is mandatory for that.

Love the sounds. Talking bout goosebumps, mine come hearing a Huey flaring for a landing at full blade pitch. That sound and the feel of it is indescribable, it washes over you as a physical force.  Was the last sound I heard when the dustoff landed to take me out in '68.  Now all choppers are so quiet.  Any airmobile grunt or Huey jockey has that sound embedded in their brain.

Interesting.  My father spent a year at Phu Cat AFB in Vietnam from May of '68 to May of '69 (185th Fighter Wing, IA ANG out of Sioux City), he says a similar thing when he hears a Huey go over head.  They do have a omnious "wupwopwupwopwupwop" sound not ever replicated by another heliocoptor.

your experience was way before my time but i do remember those sounds very well...would wake you up from a dead sleep even miles away.


op needs to turn in his man card until he's 30 yrs old...

Well.

I must surrender  my man card. It is clear.

However, considering I am 17 years old.

And that I have been in love with that single aircraft for 15 and a 1/2 years. And "Spitfire" being one of my first words.

Its worth it.  :D
