the P38 in this film there is no way he would have been able to change flight path even if he wanted too.
The P38 wanted to, and did so..

It's a game...get over it.  Does anyone really care?  You dove, he climbed.  You waited until you were too close to move yourself out of the way before firing on him.  Bad move; learn from it and move on.  Making the movie, posting it here, and expecting sympathy was a waste of your time...and now a waste of mine.   :cry

I have flown many a P38, and it is quite difficult to change direction when you are missing a wing.

In my own opinion anyway, it looked like an untentional ram. I know when I am upside down and hear damage to my plane, I usually have habit of pulling up and try to get control of my plane.

I didn't fathom that his chocolate biscuit was going to use it's nose as a ramming device to shatter my pastry.

It wasn't until I was rammed did I hear on local it was his second 262 ram. Had I heard pre-dive, I would've pulled up at 1000 yards.

This HOing to ram, as a defence is on the increase. 262 or not, I find it dispiseable that pilots are using it as a shortcut to score kills.

Quick, look in the mirror, are you maintaining a straight face?

Just wondering    :headscratch:

262s deserve all the dispicable treatment available  :aok

:O This thread again shows the great wisdom of the founding member of The Few, my FPH. :)

One day I hope to have such wisdom. :salute  :D

Twintail makes a great point as well, hard to control an aircraft with part of it's wing missing.

:old: Banshee is the good guy  in this one.  No purposeful ram on his part.

How many more posts before I graduate from Zinc status?  :headscratch:

Dolby, you don't quite understand a lot of the complexities of online MMO gaming. You can't say he rammed unless you look at HIS front end... He may have been in a suicidal HO-tard mode (no denying that) with no care of whether he lived or not, but intentionally ramming you?

No, you can't tell that from your film. Why? Because on HIS film he may have had 100 extra yards to avoid you. You were already further ahead on your end than he was, and he was already further ahead than where you saw it. Maybe by a lot, maybe by a little, but it still remains that he and you saw 2 different things and that will screw up almost all ram attempts.

I vote for "I'm dying might as well HO the bastage!" instead of "I'm going to ram him now!"....

Keep in mind Canacka he's nose high, inverted because he's lost his wingtip and rolled over. Might not even have been able to fire the trigger :P

It's like when I lose a wingtip and the guy that did it swings around in front of me 2 seconds later... I'm gonna lay on the trigger hoping to get revenge!  :airplane:
