New maps.
« on: May 23, 2011, 06:19:38 PM »
 :O

Just as a discussion, I picture a map that looks much like bikini atoll. A broken ring of land on the outer and then vast open water for carrier fleet ops or anphib landings on distant shores

... and for the peanut gallery, remind me how many player-made MA terrains have been put in the rotation in the last, say, 5 years? :headscratch:

Grinder?

I've submitted a terrain for the AvA, and am still working on a medium map for the MA.  It's not as fast and easy as some would like to think, and it takes HTC a while to validate them before stamping their approval for making them live in the rotation.

Beta2, Mesaview, and TagMA come to mind as maps that have been added in the four years since I started.

few things to say here, myself.

1) is the demand for new maps that high?
2) how hard is it to get started in the map creating aspect of AH?
3) is the map editor still functional?
4) is anyone willing to coach a new map creator through the beginning stages?

ok. im done.  :bolt:
