Snuggie's Song of the Week
« on: May 25, 2011, 04:34:47 PM »
Yes, it's another "look at me" post.  But this one is done by me, so I'm OK with it.  :D

I thought I would foist my listening preferences upon an innocent and defenseless public.  Most of these will be old - like me (turned 45 today  :old:) and the younger crowd might really hate them.  That means no hippity-hop music.  Kind of like being stuck in the back seat of your parents car.  :bhead   Folks with nothing better to do, can reveal that fact by voting in the poll posted with every song.  Perhaps even an eventual pie chart, to determine how large a majority of the AH BBS population thinks my taste in music sucks.

To start it off, this weeks entry is:

"Banditos"  by The Refreshments.

Thank you and vote early and often.  ;)

  • B. Pretty Good
  • C. Meh
  • D. Blows Chunks

Why the hell is this the first song?  <Blutarsky voice>  "Burp, why not?"
"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

I always liked that tune.  The chorus cracks me up.

Bummer.  Is that just this video or Youtube itself?

This video, but I'm almost inclined to say: Both  :lol

Most of the videos posted here having music in them (often even game videos with an added score) are blocked by the copyright holders. In this case because it's featuring content by Universal Music Group.
