Quite so... While they are visually interesting to watch, it is because they are so strange and odd and beyond normal that we enjoy watching them.

To use that as a primer to the uninitiated would be VERY misleading. Better to show some straight-up action instead of a heavily choreographed video.

Yeah, a mix of MA furball, CV VS CV action, torpedo attacks, Boat VS Planes, Flack VS planes, Special events bomber formations under attack, Jabo attacks, NOE raids, Convoys or trains getting shot up, cities / towns getting bombarded, GV VS GV massive action (tank town / jungle) and, of course, the well known 1 VS 1 duels. All while describing AH game features like Niros's unofficial promo video.

THAT would be the ultimate AH promo video.

Let's face it, fellas, anything other than a youtube video of newborns crying is going to be disingenuous.  Just pick whatever one is likely to bring the most fresh meat around for a few weeks.  The same proportion will stay or leave regardless of what video you choose.

I mean that aside from a few seconds here or there (the fws diving in on teh B-17s from the gunner's POV) it's rather boring and shows a lot of stick stirring by Fw190s avoiding gang bangs. Outside of that the little glimpses of action are short and look almost fast-forward in speed.

I mean that it's not all that great if you want to show it to a newbie to get them interested, IMO. I understand what your'e saying, though.

I'll put together some random action clips from AH. Started piecing together some last night. Might make a semi-interesting 4-or-5 minute clip. Of course... you know that means C2 action....

 

If you can stomach that then you might like it.
