I agree, but man I was scared the first time I took the shot, then when I found out it wasn't that bad It got better until I used the double barrel, it practically flew out of my hands the kick was so strong.

Try an M1  :aok

It should not be that expensive, maybe $10 for a clip. Try finding a range near you that lets you rent weapons, or a buddy that has one.

I've seen that a few times, I was actually thinking about that when I first fired. Just watched another video with a 10 gauge on you tube, reminded me, one of the guys ear protection fell off cause of the kick of the double. It was awesome.

It should not be that expensive, maybe $20 for a few clips. Try finding a range near you that lets you rent weapons, or a buddy that has one.
My friend has 2 Mosin Nagant's, he has it in his closet with a few boxes of ammo. Coolest thing ever but man those things are heavy.

My friend Didn't go to the range because he didn't like the idea of going to Police camp because he didn't want to join the force. Even though we don't do that stuff, its about team building and getting out there, we are going hiking at fort Yargo tomorrow which isn't the 7 miles we hiked in Hollywood and the water will be warmer.

Also I mean the Mosin was heavy, M1 doesn't sound that bad actually.

Why not just go to a private range? Everyone things they are expensive but it should be like $10-15 for the entrance + the ammo. That way you get to place around with a wide verity of guns.
I don't know where you live but I usually just go out into the desert and don't play anyone, just buy the ammo in advance.

Mossy is ~9lb, M1 is ~12lb.

You might want to measure the barrel length of your shortest shotgun.  If it is not at least 16in, I'd be very careful who you let know you own it.  Up to ten years and/or $100,000 fine for that BS stuff.

fairly sure its 18 1/4 but its been a bit and that was in Texas...

Umm...  you know the point is not to fire both barrels at the same time right?

If you don't like shotgun recoil get a semi-auto, or just man up  :old:  The shells you're shooting will dictate how much recoil there is, and for just playing on the range you don't need 3 1/2" high-brass magnum shells. Just some 3" #8 birdshot will do for skeet, trap, clays, or just blowing stuff up.

I take guns for granted.  I had a gun in my hands at 5, and I can walk out my back door and shoot off a few rounds any time I feel like.  Kinda feel for you city guys.

I fired one and it almost flew out of my hands, I tried again with a stronger grip and it stayed but it racked my shoulder. Its harder for me cause I'm all skin and bone, i'm the skinniest kid in my camp :(
