Went to the Range today
« on: June 01, 2011, 07:37:16 PM »
We fired only 12 gauge shot guns, I've never fired a gun in my life so I figured this was taking a leap before crawling but I went with it anyway.
Here are the pictures I got of the guns while we were going through the gun safety course and learning each of the guns individually.

That one in the middle is the first one I fired, and what I fired most often, I also fired the Semi-Automatic and the double barrel which practically flew out of my hands.

Here are the links from you tube where I fire them at the beginning of the day.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0TVpIRWt1AThis one I was shooting at steel people, or targets(Just steel targets that fall over) I was using bird shot and only got two down cause I was aiming for the chest area instead of the head. My bad!  :uhoh
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMwfYFm7LWE The guy in red was the instructor but there ware 6 adults in our group, all police officers or deputies. Here's skeet shooting, I missed both of them but that was the second time other than practice firing so Yeah I sucked at it. I was able to get 3 later before we left so I accomplished something at least. Also They way my friend recorded it was weird so the video is sideways  :headscratch: Yeah I couldn't figure it out

Also Can someone please translate this? I saw it on the underpass on Tuesday when we hiked at Hollywood Georgia and I was told to take a picture and get it translated if I could.

Why only shotguns?

Also Can someone please translate this? I saw it on the underpass on Tuesday when we hiked at Hollywood Georgia and I was told to take a picture and get it translated if I could. (Image removed from quote.)

The first two lines says "Time well spend", I can't understand the bottom two as the ink is faded. Why?

Is it German? That's what we thought, either German or Russian? :headscratch:

The bottom 2 lines don't look like the same language as top 2

You might want to measure the barrel length of your shortest shotgun.  If it is not at least 16in, I'd be very careful who you let know you own it.  Up to ten years and/or $100,000 fine for that BS stuff.

I think that was Barry's gun, he's an officer so I don't know how that works with that. All those guns were owned by police officers.

I agree, but man I was scared the first time I took the shot, then when I found out it wasn't that bad It got better until I used the double barrel, it practically flew out of my hands the kick was so strong.
