I was in D-9, holding a streak of 53 kills, no deaths. PT gets me and there goes my streak. Decided to hell with it and I try my luck on a careful tempest. He wins E fight no prob, so I dive to 10k, only alt where D-9 can outrun tempest. I can run, but nothing else. I only fight it near CV umbrella. Used it few times, Tempest wasn't taking chances. With aileron and half elevator gone, I land near field. Tempest dives to ack and kills me just as I pull to stop. 2nd death this tour, grrrr.
I get mad at Temp driver and look for revenge. He is in g10 now, with alt. I try to
outmaneuver him, but no - he waits until I am slow and parks on my 6. Next thing I take 190A-5. Same thing, the careful dude goes for sure kill. Now I take D-9 again, manage to knock his engine and vulch him just as he pulls to a stop on his field. Hehe, sweet revenge. I take g10, he takes La7. Doing barrell rolls and vertical scissors, he manages to win a position. But not energy, I extend away few times. A draw. Without fuel, I ditch near CV. He spots me, but I hit .ef just in time.
Fun fights, costed me few deaths there. Fester salutes me on private. It it was Citabria, then <S>, why didn't anyone tell me ?
