Great Sweep Swampdragons!

We saw 1 109 the whole frame. Just we we could tell what the targets were at the base. <S>

Salute to the Swampdragons for the excellent job!

I allways appreciate working with a professional Squad...they kept in constant contact via comms, so we were able to time our approach and strike to minimize the threat to the buffs.

However, I also second Filth's thoughts about the non-standard field layouts and the terrain.

We made 2 strikes on the target, the second without any trace of defenders, and we still couldn't identify the primary targets, or anything worth a bomb.

If it hadn't been for the ACK giving away it's position by firing, I doubt we would have had even the small handfull of objects we got.

Observations:

1. Before the next use of this terrain in FSO, clipboard maps of the non standard field layouts need to be provided by the CM team.

2. The terrain's color textures need to be revised to provide higher contrast between objects. For example I could only determine where the land ended and the water began by the lack of trees in Lake Ladoga's dark green water.

3. Alternatively, the CMs might consider the removal of all extraneous (non-valid target) objects from the field layouts. Or destroy them prior to the start of the frame.

On behalf of the Swampdragons i would like to say thanks for the kudos guys. :salute Praise from such pros
we consider high praise indeed. It also must be said that without good coordination and cohesion on the part of the Nightmares it probably wouldn't have went so well. Taking separate routes and achieving a tactical concentration at a distant objective and succeeding on the offense is as difficult as it gets in FSO. We did it together. :aok
I must also add my praise to my guys for maintaining  unit cohesion and mission focus as
just before we reached the DAR ring at 85 we flew over a large group of low Stukas we could have feasted on.
Not 1 guy broke formation to engage to my knowledge. We did send cutter down to ID them and he collided with 1.
If we had we would have missed the rendezvous at 85 and y'all would have been in trouble. Its nice to fly with
a good team.
We also had problems with target ID in bombers in frame 1, about 10 of our guys bombed the indestructible hangar. Some maps and contrast changes would help. Still it was a great setup and big fun.
                                                      Thanks All,
                                                                       Slayem
