Sorry, my "buddy" has been with a Police Dept. in Oakland County for more than 10 years (not stupid enough to give the exact city) and was the arresting officer on his ex-wife "brandishing a gun after leaving a bar and drunk as chit".   Eminem had to come to the station and pick her up.   That incident pretty much was the end of his ex and him (the first time).    

Yes, my cousin is his Agent and a few other "stars" based out of L.A.    Eminem had the success in his grasp, but let it slip through.     I base my decision on his doing NOTHING but "using people" and creating media hype.   He's done NOTHING for Michigan, Detroit, etc.    It is proven and well documented.    He was the Vanilla Ice of the 00's.   He wasn't born, nor lived in Detroit.    He grew up in Missouri (IIRC) and lived in Warren, MI from age 12.    

Take Kid Rock.   Most hate him, but he brought 500+ jobs to Williamston, Michigan for his beer brewery (which is 500+ more than Eminem).    He absorbs some of the cost himself (distribution and packaging) and in turn, the beer is cheaper than Budwater and is better.   I have taken the wife and kid out to Kid Rock's place in Ortonville many times.   I'm one of the few that ran with him back in 1990, that hasn't asked for a dime.   My roommate from Adrian College was a good friend of Kid Rock's from Romeo HS and we'd go to the Projects in Detroit on the weekends and have some fun.

I also ran with ESHAM and NATAS in the 90's (through ESHAM, I had talked to and met Eminem a few times).    After all, Eminem is only eight months older than me.   I'm not saying Eminem doesn't have talent.   My problem with him is this image of "Being a philanthropist for Detroit", when in fact, he's done zilch for the city.   I don't own any of his music and never will.

and also, you have your facts wrong still. Eminem did live in the suburbs of detroit. moved there at the age of 13.

He's featured Detroit in many of his songs, wishing it was better than it was, and encouraging people to bring it back to life.(Beautiful for example)
He's helped numerous artists from Detroit get on there feet in the music industry. (D12 for example)
He's helped put Detroit into the minds of people all over the world, and bring to life some of the struggles the city is facing at this current time.

what have YOU done mash to help get Detroit back on its feet that can compare to what Em is doing? if you yourself have done nothing, then you have no right to critisize those who are.

No lies here.   But it sure is funny watching you tap dance and continue to misquote.  

1.   Show the BBS what Eminem has done for Detroit in terms of Philanthropy.   (You cannot, because he hasn't done anything for the City.)
2.   My cousin Johnnie Palo is indeed Eminem's agent as well as some other R&B acts who are based out of L.A.   If you have a CD of Eminem's, his Company will more than likely be listed in the Thank you's.    
3.   Warren, Michigan is NOT Detroit.   The Northern Detroit City limits are 8 Mile Rd.    Warren, Michigan is Warren, Michigan, with a completely different Area Code/Zip Copde from "Detroit".   You seem to be hung up on generalizing everything.
4.   I have never once stated I hate his music.    Show me where I said that one as well.    But that Grammy did nothing for the City.   

Prove me wrong.   You cannot, will not, nor can you.  I find it funny you actually think I would make any of this up.   Trust me, I could give a monkey's toss about Eminem, but my cousin is his Agent and my buddy arrested his wife.   That arrest led to his subsequent FIRST divorce to Kim Scott.
