Yeah those cell phone pics suck.
I have a decent digital camera, but the zoom is only average. While I think the pilots did a great job getting as low and tight over the crowds as they could I still wouldn't have gotten zoomed in enough. I need one of those big lens to strap on the front of the camera

Hearing that B-29 roll down the runway was the best thing I heard there (besides the merlin engines and the Spitfire of course
)
Ya both the pony and the spit sounded great screaming through the sky. I was really disappointed with the "F4u SkyBoss. He really babied that thing around. The spit and pony drivers where having fun, the hog driver was just going through the motions.
Dang Fugi
Wish I knew ya was going to be out there, I made it up to the show yesterday for a few hours before back to Work, it was the First time I made it the show and I only live an hour from it. I took my 5 yr old out with me and he had a blast he was kinda upset that there not as many tanks as he was hoping but he enjoyed the airplanes and 25's he saw and the walk inside of the c46. Also had the opportunity to meet Mbailey and Drano briefly before I had to leave wish I could stayed longer but was able to get shots of FIFI also along with her taxing and the 17 coming in.
Will be back there next year

This was my 4th trip down. 5 hour ride for me, and it's the same weekend as the graduations around here. So my trips are planned around when a son, niece, or nephew is graduating HS or College!

If you were there Saturday taking pictures I might have been standing right next to you! My pictures look pretty much the same.
Adding one to my post count. Same as everybody else here.
Name it what it is dookie.
Wow, there rest of us are talking about a great air show we attended, you are working on a post count. Thanks for stopping by and sharing.
