Vox transmission sound-again.
« on: June 06, 2011, 09:53:47 PM »
havent asked for it in awhile, thought i'd bring the question back up.

i like having a sound come before someone speaks on vox(it brings my attenchian to it so i can fully catch what they are about to say)

however what i DONT like is the annoyingly loud *BEEP!* in my ear that the vox has.

so my wish is: can we have the ability to change the sound of the vox to something else? maybe make it similier to custom engine sounds?

(for all who are going to say "no, just disable the vox beep" i dont want it disabled, just changed to something a little less annoying)

no. if you cant handle it, its your problem. i dont know if anyone else who says its annoying. probably just turn it down or if you can, change the sound file. shouldnt be that hard.

actually it would be a sign of a bleeding ulcer or esophageal problem, but then you would have other symptoms...lung problems would be coughed up, not necessarily puked up. i think skorpion has more of a cranial cavity petrification issue...  :lol

Look who's talking. The guy makes a good wish and then you come on like you're one of the dev's going through a rough day at work.

I myself liked that beep when it wasn't so loud but now I can't stand how much it vibrates my head. I would love to be able to change that sound to a radio click or something (...of lower volume).

As it is now, I don't think you can change the volume of the beep without changing the master volume.

If they could turn it down just a tad, would be great. Can't find the slider for it.
