i say if you want to play a sport get out and play the real one...not the pixelized version.

 :rofl

No point in getting into a discussion with you on this.

Ps

3 year starter at my high school, 3rd team All Conference as a Junior last season(Missing 4 games from a torn mcl/acl and fracture knee). Led team in tackles, 2nd in sacks/FF before my injury.

they made FPS for fun. i hope alot of people know that 100% of what happens in the shooters doesnt happen IRL. if you have to play a pixelized version of a game that means you cant play the sport for real and are just too lazy to even try.

They made sports game for fun too.  Except sports are fun IRL, whereas FPS IRL...welll....

hmmmmmm
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?

Heh consoles are for 5 year old kids.

i played football for 7 years, from pwee to my senior year of highschool.

i was a safety, lineman, center, noseguard, quarterback, defensive end, middle linebacker. right tackle, and even a running-back at one time.

i was on the first line, played both offence& defense the entire game.

during our football practices, we only got maybe 1 water break a practice. (sometimes 2 if the coach thought we were practicing hard enough to deserve it)

now that im out of school, i play street football, flag football, tackle, and just merely toss it around a bit.

i used to play madden, still do sometimes (even tho its pretty much the same game re-released every yr with better graphics).

i just proved everything you just said wrong.

Pretty dumb and ignorant of you to say that.  Apparently I wasnt good enough in high school at football or I wouldnt be playing football in college right now.  So for you to say that is pretty ignorant.  I find the sport games fun so because I enjoy playing them means I cant play them?  I fully enjoy playing NCAA and Madden because it is a different type of genre then FPS.  I dont get a whole lot of enjoyment out of FPS games sorry for again proving your point wrong like others.  I personally like the strategy that is needed NCAA and Madden.  Its not pick a play hope it works but reading defenses and adjusting gameplans to what would work like a real game.  Some people dont see it like that but I use a whole bunch of strategy behind my gameplay.

Also if youve ever played football for a number of years you would know that it takes a huge toll on your body.  Going into my senior year of college my body feels like an 80 year old.  Joints and bones hurt.  For you to say go out and play football and being a lineman two hand touch wouldnt be much fun without having a line against line and without pads can get hurt for the upcoming season.  Numerous things can happen.  I still have to spend my summer lifting and after that and on campus research Im doing I have 0 energy to do much else.  All the pros admit to playing Madden and Im sure every D1 athlete playing football has either Madden or NCAA in their room or a friend's that they go to.  There is a reason we arent in pads all year round because need time to rest the body as a season is grueling on the body.  And sorry if Im planning on going to med school the following year so I dont have a whole bunch of time to just go outside and throw a ball around.  By the time I usually get back to my room its 10-11pm at night.

So again for you to tell me and others that we were are too lazy or too unathletic to go out and do whatever sport we are playing on the console is pretty ignorant.

i dont play the real war. i play the paintball and airsoft war. most people on FPS wont even try the paintball way because "it hurts too much" or some other reason. and every now and then you meet the one idiotic moron who says "when im 20 im gonna go noob tube some terrorists with my china lake!" on black ops. i dont go for the real thing but i go for the next best one.

and paintball is stil far from the real thing...

COD is a game to kill time when theres nothing better to do...not to play because you think your gonna be a action hero in the real world, kill 7 or 8 people, call in a blackbiord and know where the "enemy" is hiding...

and thats what makes weak minded fools in our military.the CoD developers make sure its far away from real life. the closest thing to being real world war is the killing and the guns. nobodys gets 11 kills then magically appears in a helicopter. now, if that did happen..it would be pretty sweet. but it doesnt. until someone makes a game and you get shot then die forever and cant play again, your stuck with what you have.
