Well now...  This'll be interesting.  I know it's what I want, I'm going to be very curious to see how this pans out.  There's going to be a pretty loud backlash from at least a few vocal people, but I don't think there are that many of them.

The only real back lash at this point (due to the lower numbers at this time) are if the "hordes" run rampant and become a bigger problem.

If they do, beware the split arenas again. So a fair warning to all, do what you can to split up the hordes.

I think going back to the single arena makes good sense at this stage of the game.

I fear what the reintroduction of "player spawned arenas" will do to the Main Arena.

In the long run, probably not much. Remember, we had such a thing for years (just not on the AH server) and it was totally free!

I hope you're correct.  I would hate to see the bulk of established pilots vanish out of the MA.

I'm all for this IF they use some of the newer maps.  The island map, uterus and some of the other older maps need to be retired. (honorably of course)

Make your own map.

Additionally we are currently developing user spawned arenas to serve as an expanded and HTC hosted version of the old 8 player H2H.  The introduction of this feature will also lessen the need for a second late war arena.

No one reads the announcements, do they?
