Quite the fellow he was! Stop and think where he had all been, and did what he had done. P40 training in the UK and Russia? Flying combat missions over S/SE Aisa? Wow.

While in Russia during Germany invasion, did he and a wing man saw a few Ju-88s or He-111that he wanted to attack them. His wing man advised him not to because the U.S. was not in the war?
