Just wondering if anyone has one of these types of stick and if so, what do you have your damping set at? I have been tryin to get used to it last 2 days and its an awesome stick, but Im having trouble. I have used a Logitech 3D Pro for last 2 years and whle I know its gonna take a few days to get the hang of it, seems like normal turns and rudder seem to send me into spins and lose control, etc. Can anyone help me out?

Heya Scotty,

glad you got you a Usable Controller.. that model is a newer version of what I had offered you.......

as for Dampening........ did you have anything "Scaled" on the Elevators Axis on your old stick? or was it at default settings?

Dampening and Dead Band sliders should not be causing you to spin or lose control unless you have them set too high........ try putting the Dampening and the Dead Band sliders at the very bottom of the slider ( to "0" / nothing ) since this is a completely different stick set up verses that Logitech 3D Pro you had

then if you are still going into spins and losing control,

#1 you should try Scaling the Elevators Axis ( look for AKAK's Scaling Tips in the help and Training Forum ......  can find the thread via the search function , Ghosth also has posted pictures of his Scaling as well ) .......... they use a sweeping curve from left to right

also, this will prob be moved to the H & T forum .......

let us know what you come up with

hope this helps..... Best of Luck

here are the screen shots i promised...duplicate if you want and adjust from there.

obviously the throttle is not scaled and no deadband or damping.

again, i have my stick locked so it doesn't twist and i'm using the rocker switch on the front of the throttle for rudder control...takes some getting used to but it's handy once you do. spring tension for the stick is a round knob on the bottom of the stick...lefty loosey righty tighty...no throttle or rocker switch tension adjustments.

i know you will get the hang of it before long...  :D
