F3 makes night and day difference. It's why you get other games with "no cockpit" hacks and such.

Just one example of what it's like:

and yes it's a ton easier getting hits on stuff you can't normally see. On top of that the camera is further back from your plane giving you a better perspective on angles and targets.

So did I, wanted to make sure it wasn't me...
You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

h2h can provide a chance to do this,

with the right map,  I'm thinking several air spawns all over it ,    You could just agree an altitude and have much quicker fights.

A DA lobby area would be cool but the tower is a lobby already and wouldn't require htc to do anything.  You could tune 101,  anyone not available sticks their afk light on.

When a fight is arranged air spawn in and fight.   The only issue would be guys griefing as they do in the DA,  password on the arena solves that problem.    After awhile you would build up a good group of guys who regularly duel.

What a great notion, why didn't anyone else ever think of this...  :P
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

The few select beings have something on us mere mortals I guess. Anyway, I love the OP's idea.

I tried to fly with tracers off but I think it prohibited me from getting a realistic grasp of where my bullets were going, how did you get so good at that?

Best way to learn to aim is to have the negative reinforcement if you miss.

Fly a 109F4 wiht 150 rds or a yak9u with 120 rds.

You miss, you go home. Flying back empty handed is the punishment. Landing a kill with only 20 rounds fired is the reward. Trust me, that kind of shot discipline more than pays for the time it takes to learn.

P.S. If you're missing and you can't tell how you're missing, you are too far from the target. If you're spraying, stop. Only take high-percentage shots, or keep fighting until you have one. "Get in close, until you cannot get any closer, then get closer still" to paraphrase one German ace.

Krusty. Thanks for posting the F-3 mode film. You made the point about the advantage F-3 gives you I been trying to make for years.
