In EW I realize that if you are in full speed you can sort of be like in neutral of before but at the same time it isn;t quite the same.

WE NEED NEUTRAL!

Why?

Because we all KNOW that WWII tanks could do 150 mph down hill and ours seem to be limited by this gear thing.  :devil

Disagree.  I like the new set-up.

I think I've gotten up to 204 in an M-4 with the new setup before I started rolling, which is much slower.

We need over-rev in GVs.

They can still do very high speeds downhill even in gear.  I think he's referring to putting it in neutral so that a slight twist of the stick (rudder) doesn't cause the tank to automatically gallop off forward taking you out of your hull down position and directly into the sights of that Tiger over there.

I'd just like to be able to sit still with my engine running and not have to worry about my GV suddenly taking off because I moved my pedals without realizing it. THAT is why we need neutral again. And yes, I know I could have that by turning off my engine, but I don't want to have to start and stop my engine every time I want to stop and shoot at a plane. The sound and start up make too much noise and don't let you move quickly if needed (because of start-up time).

Although I wanted it for the reasons Fugitive made fun of, I can see how this would be a good reason.   :aok
