 I used to hang with his younger brother,actually sat behind his old Stewart kit,but didnt let him see me. :devil

That was incredible.  Neil Peart is a drumming legend.  My favorite drummer from my "era" right here, Danny Carey in action.

  Mash,Rush played our high school,couldnt get past that so I never went to any of their arena gigs!

 PS:  Neil is a virtual metronome,his timming is second to none,not sure who I like better him or Buford.

Same here back in the eary 80's ..That's when we got to smoke in the stadiums . Like one up and pass it around ,lol .

Rush is one of my all time favorites i've seen them 4 times in Seattle starting in 1978, years later they still sound great  :rock

I dunno, all that kit surrounding him sometimes strikes me as just so much self-indulgent BS.

Don:t get me wrong, I'm a huge Rush fan, grew up down the street from them, but the berst drummers I've ever seen all had about 1/20th the amount of stuff that he has.

I like Rush but I was into AC/DC hard core . After they carked down on smoking I quit going .
