Neil is just some guy who played drums in his Mom's basement in a band called Fludd!

I used to hang with his younger brother, actually sat behind his old Stewart kit,but didnt let him see me. :devil

That was incredible.  Neil Peart is a drumming legend.  My favorite drummer from my "era" right here, Danny Carey in action.

I went to the same concert. Unfortunately, I don't remember much of it.

I dunno, all that kit surrounding him sometimes strikes me as just so much self-indulgent BS.

Don:t get me wrong, I'm a huge Rush fan, grew up down the street from them, but the berst drummers I've ever seen all had about 1/20th the amount of stuff that he has.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

He uses every piece throughout the concert.    He's actually very well grounded.
