The End of Time

Hello, AH BBS,

I have two questions for you all.  If you knew that you were the last sentient being to ever live, what would you do?  Celebrate?  Cry?  Go on a rampage?  With nobody to stop you, the world would be yours for the taking.  The possiblities would be limitless, but in the end, you'd be alone.

Secondly, assuming that the universe's expansion will remain constant (no Big Crunch or Big Rip), how do you think that the last remnants of humanity will spend their time?  Will they go to war?  Will it be just a gradual dimming of the lights until they just vanish?

Let's hear your opinions on the end, but please leave any Rule #14 ideas at the door- this thread is too good to lose.

If I knew that I were to be the last, I'd go to the nearest library and read the history of mankind in chronological order.  It would take me the rest of my life, but on my deathbed I'd give a speech on my findings.

How do I think that it will end?  The last human beings will die of cold after the last suns burn out.

I'm not sure, but I think it would be a wingless variety that was detrimental to tomato's

I'd probably kill my enemies and steal a car and run over people for no reason and break into a gun store and go loose with 12 gauge shots guns and possible If i'm not dead yet either steal a plane of a tank and crash it into a military base or the stock market place with lots of crazy people. My plan hasn't changed since I was 9

That sounds rather wasteful...  Giving a speech on a dead society to an empty room...

Seeing how the sun won't be burning out for a few billion years, I'm guessing that the human race will either kill itself off or, if we are lucky, expand deeper into the universe to evolve into a different type of being.
