are you saying you wish there was a way of knowing when someone has joined your plane to gun for you?

there is, in you chat box it will show up "{player name} is now attached to you"

Good idea, but for now just see who is on local vox.  IIRC they will still show up there.

gunners dont show up on local.  I am not even sure if you can talk to them on local.

You can talk to them on range, but they don't show on the list and nobody else can hear them. So there is no way to tell when they leave - until you're in the bombsight, getting shot by fighters, and nobody's firing back.

Thats more of what i was thinking when I wrote this.  I mean you are told when the gunner joins, but not when he gets bored and skips out.
