It's been one month and three years of seemingly hopeless job search interspersed with irregular part time work, but Monday I start a new professional job in my industry.

I know what it's like to send a thousand resumes out into the black hole.
But this job, the one I landed, I applied to
last August.
Yep. Apparently there are some companies that really do keep your resume on file.
Let me encourage anyone who has given up hope and quit their search, as I have on occasion, to make at least one targeted job inquiry each week, and get back in the game.
