Soccer = the root of all evil in the United States of America sports. The reason that our kids have grown up thinking that there are no winners and losers in sports; only everyone gets to play and have fun.

SOCCER = A virus that needs to be eradicated like polio!

Not just soccer but the all American game of baseball must include as well.

I read that some people were bothered that the entire post game ceremony was conducted in spanish.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

Tough to beat Mexico at home :) US might have had a few more foul calls if if the match was in RFK.

Not to anything away from them, Mexico is a great team and play some really entertaining soccer. They'd be one of my favorite teams if I didn't hate them so much.

On the US side the best sign was the re-emergence of Freddy Adu over the last two games.  He's exactly what the US needs - a playmaking midfielder with vision who can also get up and down the wing if needed.

Yeah, thats BS. My sons graduation was delivered in both spanish and english, why not the closing ceremony in which the USA was the visiting team in a city in America. As a Californian im here to tell you that California is no longer a land of the free or part of the United States for that matter. We have been annexed by Mexico and nobody cares. Same for Texas, Arizona, and numerous other places our govt. says we shouldnt go to.

Goodbye sweet America

Was the ceremony really that much of a big deal? I mean Mexico won...They should be able to understand the ceremony while watching it on TV and what not. If the US had won in Mexico im pretty sure the SAME thing woulda happened and Mexicans would be pissed off because it was in english.

It was CONCACAF's decision to have it in Spanish. God only knows what they were thinking. I'm sure the Mexican fans loved it though, so there's that.

I have never experience the phone call thing.  Everytime I have hit it it is "Press one for Spanish or stay on the line"

Also, what myth did you hear about not being able to own guns in California?
