My resource officer was one of the adults that went camping with us, he brought his cd's and played it when everyone left to go swimmin in the lake. However I was taking a nap and he was playing it and man language every 3rd word but it was pretty cool cause alot of the officers jammed out to it.

I know Arkansas is an at-will-employment state and I think North Carolina is as well.  You can be fired from a job here and they don't have to give you a reason why.  Technically they don't even have to have a reason but most do to CYA.

I'd be curious how they would be able to connect me to the online games I play as I never use or reference my real name in relation to my online names?  I know that there are companies that will consider any MMO playing a ding against the candidate, so just posting in a "face to face" manner is not always enough.

I expect the .gov has tools at its disposal, should it choose to focus them on somebody, that can dig out things that a company doing pre-employment screening cannot.

It's just scary to me.  Especially after being the victim of a botched background check with 3 full pages of convictions including 2 felonies. 
It took weeks to straighten out and I nearly didn't get the job over it.

The point was that there are now firms that do nothing but look up everything a person has written on the internet.  People will be denied work because of their point of view on a topic, that's a freedom that we still had until recently.

Once again, how?  How will they attach my posts here and elsewhere to me?  HTC and a couple other companies have that info, but nobody else does.

Facebook, yes, and it is a factor in not having a facebook account.  Interestingly my wife was just turned down for a job for not having a facebook account, they thought she wasn't social enough.  Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I have no use for facebook at all.  I interact with the people I see and know.
