go to start up my computer this morning, its unusually slow. i mean taking double the time, if not triple the time to even get to the screen where it shows your mobo type. that slow. i sit here out of curiosity, and it says my computer was not shut down properly (odd cause i closed all my windows last night and hit "Shut Down" before i went to bed  :huh  :headscratch:) and that it needed to repair. i hit the "Repair" button and it does its thing. get back from doing a couple things, the "repair" is done, but it said it couldnt "repair" one thing. the reason:

Unspecified changes to the System Configuration
Repair Action: System Files Integrity Check and Repair
Result: Fail. Error Code: 0X490

 :furious :furious

no mind, i shut down my computer. give it a few minutes to itself. start it back up and it runs fine.

thoughts on the error and why this could have happened? The other day my mom was doing something in the bathroom and we had the toaster oven going (the way the house is wired it trips the breaker if this happens...) and my computer got the effects too. it hasnt had an issue since though. I'll throw up a DxDIAG once i get a free moment.
