Cartoon #43
« on: July 02, 2011, 03:53:38 PM »
First I want to apologize about NOT having a cartoon last week. I took my wife away for the weekend to Ogunquit, ME for the weekend for our anniversary.

Second, I'm a little disappointed that no body noticed or commented on me missing a week. It makes me feel a bit under appreciated  :P

Finally, this is an "Epic" cartoon suggested by Karaya. After a phone call it turned into a bit more than just a regular cartoon. It is loosely based on "The Last Supper", and then got out of hand.  :neener: I got a bunch of tips from a number of people to try and get each person as close as I could.

HAPPY 4th EVERYONE !!

No where near as much as I'd like. This one has taken weeks to finish. I admit this one I cheated on abit, pizza boxes are copy and paste after the first one.  :D  Cartoons are easier because you do the line drawing then add shadow with some scribbles.  Most of the cartoons start out as scribbles and get to a finished drawing in about 4-5 hours. This one I tried to post much bigger (2400x800) but photobucket limits the sizes. I'm looking to swap it out now. I'm in the middle of half a dozen other pictures that are more "paintings" than drawings. If I could make money at it, I'd do it a LOT more.

Fugi I have one question about your weekend with the wife.
Did you bring her back?
