who knows anything of them? was thinkin on joinin the Army for a while, but i got a kick to join the Seabees today at work. one of my dads closest friends,. his father was a Seabee in 'Nam.  anyone heard of them, or know anything of them?

They really made their rep in WW2 in the Pacific... do some research - interesting stuff to be found.

They do some great work! Though some of it seems a bit... unworthy of their stature. Right now they're adding verniers to a stone wall at Naval Base San Diego. I remember walking by it every day wondering why they had the Seabees doing that instead of building bunkers or other cool stuff...

why i want to do it. not many know of them unless they know a fair bit of the armed forces

comin from a blue collar background, oughta look good on a job application after.
